Overnight accommodations are available to troops that are out of council and have an extended drive time to attend seminar.

The cost for the overnight is $2/person.

Sleeping arrangements are on school gymnasium floor.

Parking
Since we'll have a lot of people at the school on Saturday it might be best to park on the streets near the school.  This way it'll leave the playground parking area just east of the school open for those arriving Saturday.  This will also benefit you as there will be less possibility you'll be boxed when parked in the playground lot.  Please be sure to not park in the parish lot on the north side of the building.  This area is reserved for the instructors and counselors teaching classes.

Sleeping
Everyone will spend the night in the gym or on the stage.  Since we expect about 100 people space will be tight.  I plan to have half the gym available for basketball for part of the evening.  Be sure to bring the sleeping materials you'll need.  If you're using cots please make sure they have rubber or padded feet so they don't damage the gym floor.

Bathrooms
Facilities are available on the same floor as the gym just outside of the main gym entry.  There is also a locker room on the lower-level for use as well.  Facilities for women are located just outside the southeast gym door.

Showers
Sorry but we will not offer showers.  However, you may use the locker room to conduct personal hygiene such as shaving, brushing teeth, etc...

Activities
I'll have two TVs and DVD players available on the stage for movies.  I will also have a small selection of movies, but bring your own if you have something particular you want to watch.  Movies should be appropriate for scouts.  Additionally, half the gym will be available for basketball until 9:30 pm.

Off-limit areas
The upper floor of the building is strictly off limits.  Any scouts found in this area will be escorted from the building and will need to find other accommodations for the night.  If the situation involves several scouts from any particular troop; the entire troop may be asked to leave for the night.

Food
Upon request we will provide contact information for nearby restaurants and pizza delivery companies.  You are welcome to have food delivered to the building at your own expense.  All food and drink must be consumed in the cafeteria.  The only drinks allowed in the gym is bottled water.  There will be breakfast food available for sale starting at 6a.m. in the cafeteria (cereal, donuts, biscuits and gravy, etc.)
