On April 10, 2010, Pack 9 participated in Boneyard Creek Community Day.  Ten of our Scouts and their parents and siblings helped remove trash from the banks of Kaufman Lake and the Copper Slough in Champaign.  This was the first time Pack 9 participated in the Boneyard Creek Community Day and will be an annual service project for Pack 9 for years to come.  Scouts who participated earned the Conservation Good Turn award.  Pack 9 earned the Conservation Good Turn Certificate from the National Scout Office.  We finished the day with a barbeque in Hessel Park in Champaign.
